This village is one of the oldest villages in Ubon Ratchathani. According to history, the villagers actually immigrated from Vientiane during the reign of King Siri Bunsan and settled here.

The village is famous for its brass work in an ancient style. There is a brass product center with silk products available. In addition there are demonstration of silk products and beautiful brass by the locals daily.
